berjaya times square, kl (malaysia)

berjaya times square is a 5-star city hotel and it is only a few years old. the lobby and rooms are nicely decorated and potrays a posh image.

being a city hotel, most of the activities we conduct are indoor activities. the good news is that the hotel is in the same building as a 12-storey shopping centre(when we were there about 6 floors are occupied with shops). there is also a 56-lane bowling alley, 9-screen cineplex and an indoor theme park with roller coaster ride, giving us more choices of interesting things to do with our participants!

to some of our younger participants, these just the side show, the main attraction is still the night life in KL, with clubs, discos and pubs that open till the wee hours in the morning.

berjaya times square has well trained service staff and their conference support is above average. there are also many meals options outside the hotel other than those in the building, there are also other restaurants that are easily accessible by Light Rail Transit.

the hotel is also open to teambuilding professionals using different parts of their hotel to do teambuidling activities, which makes a big difference as city hotels usually do not have many open areas we can use.

overall, our experience with the citibank group at berjaya was a positive one, we are especially impressed with the service level of the conference staff (Marcus toh), who went beyond their call of duty to show us around parts of kl when we did the pre site visit.
